About Your Experience

During your time in the trees, you will experience mental obstacles such as fear and anxiety and that is perfectly natural!  That is also one of the most amazing benefits of climbing at Salisbury Camping and Adventure Park...the ability to zip over all of those obstacles!  Just a warning...increased confidence is very much a possibility!

Select your Harnessing Time and Plan to Arrive Early to Check-In

The ticket you purchase includes 20 minutes for a Safety Briefing and Self Harnessing session along with three hours of climbing in the Trees!  To make your climb more enjoyable and to expedite the registration process, please be sure to complete your waiver prior to coming to the Park. Please be sure to browse your Confirmation Email for important information, link to your waiver.  To get into the Trees a little faster, we encourage climbers to assist each other in the harnessing process.  Don't worry, a Staff Member will be checking your Harness when outfitting you with your clips!

We are a Self-Guided Park

The Salisbury Camping and Adventure Park staff is always there to cheer you on, motivate you, provide helpful hints about the elements and, when needed, provide assistance from the ground and in the treetops. However, we recognize that one of the experiences that most people enjoy is overcoming mental obstacles and achieving personal growth.  We also understand that every climber is different and come with unique obstacles.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

The Salisbury Camping and Adventure Park is open rain or shine, so we recommend dressing for the weather! If you don’t want to climb in the rain, you may always reschedule for a different day even if we remain open. Although we cannot provide refunds, we do offer compensation such as rebooking credits, reschedules, or weather vouchers.

General Cancellations:

You can cancel or reschedule your reservation for any reason ahead of time. If you wish to cancel, you'll receive a full rebooking credit that will never expire and/or any gift certificates used on the reservation would be reactived. You can cancel online through your confirmation email, or give us a call if you have another date in mind and prefer to reschedule on the spot.

No-shows are ineligible for compensation.

Weather Closures:

In the event of severe weather (such as thunder, lightning, or high winds) the courses may close. In the event of any course or park closures while you're at the Park, your time may be extended if we reopen that day, or vouchers will be made available for you to use towards future climbs that season! We offer 50% vouchers if you've gotten more than half of your time in, or 100% if you've gotten less than half. If the Park has to close for the remainder of the day due to severe weather, future reservations that have not started will be contacted and issued a full rebooking credit that never expires.

Regarding Severe Weather:

At the Salisbury Camping and Adventure Park we make the safety of customers and staff our top priority. When lightning strikes within a certain radius, we will close. Whether we open back up on a given day depends on the forecast. If our county is under a severe thunderstorm warning or watch, we may decide to close in anticipation of a storm rather than wait for it to hit. While it may appear that skies are clear at the Park, if radar indicates any danger coming, we must close. We will make every effort to contact leaders of any remaining reservations in a day should we be forced to close due to weather. If you are unable to reach us and the forecast is uncertain, please check our Facebook page, where we will post updates regarding closures.
